Project Caravan

An emotional Wes Campbell welcomed members of the public gathered at the Campbell-McLennan dealership in Killam on Wednesday, May 29.

The date marked the end of a project that Campbell and his staff started in March, where they came up with an idea to raise funds to purchase a van to donate to the Flagstaff Community.

Campbell's staff agreed on an amount of $25,000 and also decided that if they were able to raise that amount by the end of March, less than a month's time away from the proposal, they would shave their heads to provide incentive to donors.

On Wednesday, Tanya Piche and Carey Hauck from Underground Hair were standing by with clippers at the ready, as staff made good on their promises and took turns in the hot seat.
