Technology and Infotainment
Aside from plenty of safety technology like Electronic Stability Control, the truck features a Uconnect 3 multimedia centre with a 5.0-inch touchscreen. A 3.5-inch Electronic Vehicle Information Centre keeps the driver aware of critical information while focusing on the road. The base trim comes standard with four speakers, which increase as the trim level does.
Exterior Functionality and Design
The truck's exterior is fitted with automatic quad halogen headlamps, helping illuminate the road when night falls. Many body accents, such as the door handles, mirrors, and bumpers on the front and rear of the truck, are black. Many trims come equipped with BSW all-season tires, providing excellent stability on almost any road surface.
Interior Comfort and Space
While truck cabins don't offer much space for storage, the 3500 features a rear under-seat storage compartment and rear in-floor storage bins on crew cab models. Regular cab models feature behind-the-seat storage. The tradesman's seating is heavy-duty vinyl, which is easy to clean and relatively comfortable. Â
Power and Performance
There are three available engines for the five trims. The high-output 6.7-litre Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 engine is a non-standard engine available at an additional cost for all trims. This optional addition has a stunning output of 1,075 lb-ft of torque, 400 horsepower, and a towing capacity of 37,090 pounds.
The 6.4-litre HEMI VVT V8 can deliver 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque while offering a towing capacity of 18,210 pounds. The 6.7-litre Cummins Turbo Diesel I6 has a fairer 22,660 pounds towing capacity and a lower 370 horsepower with a stunning 850 lb-ft of torque.
